I'm getting one for christmas and I need to know if it come with a year of playstaion plus or do I need to buy it apart?

Unless it says it comes with a year of ps+, no it doesn't. There would be no reason for sony to give a free year of playstation plus. So unless there is a special/promo thing going on then no.

No i don't think so the only deal like that i know of is some xbox one bundles come with 12 months ea access.

Mine came with a free 2 day trial, that is it. I had the option to subscribe to a 14 day trial with my credit card but they were going to auto renew it. I prefer to keep away auto renewals if I can. I know I can turn them off, but is just another hassle.

Unfortunatly PS Plus is sold seperatly to the PS4 unless you buy a bundle that includes a membership
