The inventor of the segway did not die from his invention(actually he still lives) however, after purchasing the company Jimi Heselden was killed by riding one off of a cliff.

These are sweet, would love to try one out. Maybe buy one after that if I like it. Don't know anyone who has one near me.

A lot of the chinese swegways are blowing up in households Some serious overheating so clearly not safe, I hear the samsung battery is a must also for the life span.
