Gonna replace my desktop just cos I'm out a lot and ofc a laptop is way more portable. I'm gonna be selling my desktop and switching to a laptop as it suits my needs more.

Price range is up to £600. Maybe a lil more but that's pushing it.

I'd like it to play gta v on at least high settings? Again I'm a novice really at this so I need your help.
Mainly looking to buy on eBay & Amazon but other sites you can link to.
UK ONLY.

You're going to need to probably double your budget to get a laptop half decent for gaming.

Do you realise the downfalls to gaming laptops? They may be portable, but they have a battery life of 20 seconds.

Mobile hardware is considerably less powerful than the desktop equivalents, so if you game on a 970, you'd probably be looking at a 980M to match it in retrospect.

Buh I'm a novice so good to let me know. I knew laptops would be more expensive but that's just insane lol.
I'll just look around and shop for prices

If you want a laptop, use it for word. Unless you spend £1k+ you're going to get something that'll play a game similarly to a £500 desktop with the battery life of about 35s.
