Welcome to How to Rank Up in Black Ops 3
To begin with, this is all of my own knowledge just from playing the game, this is not copied and pasted from another site.
Game Mode:
To begin with, the best game mode is kill confirmed, not only do you get 50xp a kill you get another 100xp for confirming the tag. You also get 25xp for kill denies. Not only will you be able to get the most xp out of your playing you will also have a chance to get many kills allowing you to advance your weapon ranks and achieve more challenges.
Weapons:
Always continue to use different weapons, by doing this you are giving yourself a chance at more challenges, and by being able to get more challenges comes more xp. Also don't be afraid to complete the camo challenges for each weapon, I know it may be hard but after the first 100 headshots you can get the other challenges so very easily and get a lot of xp.
The, you must know!
You must play the game mode, by this I mean if you are playing Domination, defend and actually try and cap the flags. Don't just sit in a corner and pretend it is TDM. Also this brings up another great point, CAMPING is not going to get you ranked up fast. Unless you are spawn trapping their is a big difference. There is a thing called SCORE PER MINUTE and if you want to rank fast this must be high! If you camp you will not be getting a lot of score or any at that matter, so you are defeating the purpose of this post.
Challenges:
Call of Duty BO3, maybe seem a bit harder to rank up. But oh! Did they make it so so easy. One of the great features is you can check your closest challenges to being completed. All you need to do is every time you get on, look at these and go for them. Not only are you maybe a kill away from getting them there are so many challenges that you would never get without this! Take Advantage.
Specialists:
Okay this is a big one! To begin with, if you did not know each Specialist has a Hero GEAR. And yes the Hero GEAR is all gold. To get this you must complete every challenge for every specialist. This is actually very simple, time consuming but very simple. Start off by getting the 800 kills with each specialist then change to the next until you have got 800 with everyone. When this is done go back and do all the select challenges for that specialist ability. Not only will you be getting a lot of XP from playing you will be getting a lot of challenges done and will eventually have the coolest GEAR in the lobby!
Finally:
Remember to have fun. This is still just a video game and you need to enjoy it. Don't be the guy that only cares about his rank. Play hard and have fun!
