I believe its bullshit that Alabama is #4. They lost to Ole Miss, who lost to Memphis by 13 and lost to Florida by 28.

TCU or Michigan State should have been number 4, hell Iowa is making a case to be at the top. Alabama is number 4, well because they are Alabama.

I also agree Alabama should not be in the Top 4.

I think Baylor should be four. Both Baylor and TCU have backloaded schedules so we'll see where they rank soon enough.

I dont think there is anything wrong with Alabama being 4 just becaue of the LSU game next week. If they end up winning they should no doubt be a top 4 team.
My top 4: 1. Clemson 2. LSU 3. MSU 4. Bama
I just dont see OSU being a top 4 this year.

I'm a Bama fan but I see people's point however I think they deserve I mean it is a nick saban coached team and they do have a strong sos and remaining games are tough so I believe they are a top four team Baylor and tcu have played no one...my top four are

1:Clemson(great team this year)
2:LSU(will be decided this weekend)
3:Michigan State(has great wins this year and a good remain schedule)
4:Alabama(great team questions on offense but steps up when needed and defense is magnificent but will also be answered this weekend)

I'm an Ohio State fan. I've grown up loving OSU as I'm from Ohio so no I'm not a front runner!

I don't understand why we face this rediculous teams that are just complete trash. I think we could win again but I think it will be a close game between OSU and MSU. Hopefully we can pull it off but if MSU wins I wouldn't mind seeing them win.

Today was pretty eventful....

In short:
  • Clemson hangs on to beat a Syracuse team that showed signs of being great
  • Baylor gets handed it's first loss by an Oklahoma team that is sure to be top 6 next week
  • Stanford loses to Oregon by 3, as a Notre Dame fan this freaking sucks (Strength of Schedule going down...)
  • Michigan BARELY escapes Indiana's grasp in a double OT game, Indiana is the best 0-6 conference team I've ever seen...
  • LSU racks up it's second loss to an Arkansas team that is rolling right now
  • TCU is able to hold off a Kansas team that was desperate for an upset
  • Iowa State almost puts 2011 on repeat, but it can't hold on against Oklahoma state and they lose by 3 in a close one.

Next week ranking predictions

1. Clemson (Can't punish a team for winning while being #1 can you?)
2. Alabama (Made short work of another SEC team, Alabama is the team to beat this year)
3. Ohio State (Once again, Can't punish a top team for a 25 point victory)
4. Oklahoma (HUGE Conference win over the top offense in the country, Baker Mayfield looking like a serious Heisman candidate)
5. Notre Dame
6. Iowa
7. Oklahoma State
8. Florida
9. Michigan State (Depending on if they win their game in process....)
10. North Carolina (Bold pick?)

Also, Navy's Quarterback Keenan Reynolds broke the FBS record for career rushing touchdowns today, with 81. This is huge, and he's confirmed a finalist for the Heisman trophy. I think this is great since Reynolds is the definition of what a Heisman winner should be.

he Heisman Memorial Trophy Award (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or The Heisman), is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football in the United States whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work.

Seriously, this guy is word for word the living personification of a Hesiman winner. I'm pulling for him.

oh, and notre dame's playoff hopes got crushed just a little.....
