Dumb rant, I don't care.
So I completed Black Ops 3 campaign on realistic. We did 2/3 missions a day so about 3 or 3/4 days. We finally complete it.
Wow it was not worth it at all. For completing on realistic you gain nothing.
All you get is a calling card for multiplayer no one will notice and a single achievement. You don't get an alternative ending. No cut scene nothing. The game ends and you sit through credits then you go back to the safe house.
Actually annoyed we did it and received nothing for it. On all the other CoDs you got special endings/items for multiplayer. Even the camos in campaign you can get look awful.
I really hate how you can complete the game on recruit and you get the same ending. Even on hardened. You can complete it and get all the achievements you'd get on realistic except the very last one which is only 50g.
The campaign itself is good. I'm just really annoyed at that. A few hours spent constantly dying and redoing checkpoints for nothing.

No other game has done something like this, at least not that I can think of off the top of my head.

what other cods gave you anything special for beating on highest setting? I beat most of the cods on veteran and it was the same ending as recruit for me. I usually go through and just BEAT the game on veteran, then go back on recruit and get all the intel, achievements etc!
Realistic is kind of stupid hard but I mean what do you expect man, its cod. I know some games like halo 4 had some kind of alteration if beaten on highest setting but other than that what else do you expect?

Bo1 or 2, can't remember. You got that ending where everyone played the song Paint it Black from the advert.
On AW if you did the campaign on veteran, you got a special suit for multiplayer. Some really nice white one and it was named along the lines of " veteran player " or something to let people know you've done it.
Can't remember the rest but I think there was one for Ghosts aswell.

I expected something that gives you the incentive to do it.
Think of something else. There's an option to do it really hard or really easy. Why do it hard if you gain absolutely nothing? All I expected was a reason to do it. Which I did it and there was no purpose at all.
Something before hand like:
" If you spend hours doing realistic, you gain nothing from it so just run it on recruit or hardened "
Just so people know there's absolutely no point at all.

It was still something that you got. I really liked it with the Atlas. Pure white with a massive sniper. It looked really nice.

On MW2 you unlock the cool museum that comes to life & has every weapon ... Something like that would be cool
