The past few nights I have been having these HUGE lag spikes which makes my ping go from around 50 to 800. I have 38Mbps download speed so I should be fine.

Is there a program where I can see whats taking up my bandwidth so much? I've tried logging into my router and there is nothing to display this. Nobody claims to be downloading/uploading so it shouldn't be so bad.

Thanks

I'm not sure on the name but yes, i will look up one if you don't find one before me. Also this might or might not help you but every couple of days you should restart your computer if you don't already do that, because it could be your cpu and ram idling at a high usage (also known as a memory leak i believe) not giving applications what they need. Also try rebooting your router every week or so(unplug for 10 secs or so and plug in) and take off and un-needed/used devices. Hope this solves your problem ~Z PS. Grats on 100 posts

1st of all, thanks for the quick response!

I also turn my PC off every day after I've done using it anyway. I sleep in the same room as I have my PC in, and I have a Razer H440 case, Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard, and Deathadder mouse. So I HAVE to turn it off due to all of the LEDs and such. I've also got multiple SSDs, so boot up times isn't an issue.

If you could find the name of that program, it'd be AMAZING. Hopefully someone else can give a few ideas also!

Thanks on the 100 posts I didn't even realize until you said!

EDIT: I'm going to restart my router in a second, and will due so every week or two now. I didn't think about restarting my router every now and then. I will be sure to keep doing that!

I am testing this out myself also but it is clean on 66 antivirus scans(different programs) + clean on mine here, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
EDIT: Works like a charm and very user friendly interface.
