Dude, who cares?
If i wanna smoke a cigarette, I damn well sure i'm going to!
When i gotta out of Basic Combat Training at Ft.Sill, I quit for the 10weeks, and went back to it cuz my AIT Platoon sgt didn't give a crap if we did. I smoked for 4years before it, so whats the matter if I continue!(Yes i DO know you can't smoke in uniform but no one really cares about that rule unless the NCO is a complete asshole)
Everyone dies anyway!
It just drives me nuts when people say "Well, if you smoke, you increase your chances by getting lung cancer by 90percent." Well no Sh*t!
If people wanna smoke, just let them!
Those anti-smoking commercials are complete crap. I bet at least half the people who do those commercials smoke!
Just saying this is all personal opinion. You can judge my opinion all you wants, I'm just saying that this drive me nucking futs

yep because having people CARE about you is totally a bad thing?
Also smoking does have an effect on others around you (obviously in different situations" but 2nd hand smoke is very real and people who deny just boggle my mind, ANY kind of smoke in your system is bad for you.

I respect your argument but trust me, when your out of basic training, you will probably smoke haha. Just hate it when people complain about it haha. Very good argument though

Hahahah, Yesssss. 100% Agreed man. Smoking doesn't have any positive affects on you. I don't understand why people smoke in the first place. I'm 21 and I've never smoked in my life.

Smoking is nasty fam, quit. I'm 10000% glad I quite smoking. I'll still have a cheeky snout every now and again, but who doesn't.
I did, however, used to hate people who complained about me smoking considering it was entirely my choice and I was polite about it, I'd always get away from non-smokers or children if I was going to smoke, or just out of the way of any one that it may have annoyed. There's no reason to smoke, and not be courteous about it.
That's why you don't understand then. People smoke for different reasons, nothing wrong with it. Yes, it's bad for you, but smokers know that.

Well i smoke.
Like a chimney if I'm out.
I see nothing at all wrong with it in terms of myself, I know and understand the effects, but only a smoker will understand how much they calm you down and make you happy.
That being said when someone says it's bad for me, I appreciate the care, but if they say it just to be a judgemental person then I will dislike them forever.

Im not in the military so Idk how it goes but I do know alot of smokers in the military. I would imagine I would smoke one from time to time if I was in it. Not saying people cant do it, just circumstances you know, if im kind about it I would expect for the smoker to be just as kind.
Either way I see your points the whole not caring and thats cool and all I get it. Just the rant came off a bit weird to me, kinda like you didnt care for advice or something
