To check the gear on the bike, kick the gear down until it wont go anymore and then kick it up half, this will but the bike into neutral.
The blue neutral switch lights up when i turn it on so it wont move? Then i hold break and throttle?

If its a moped keep it on the stand and rev, if its a bike you can sit on it, hold in the break and rev.
Alright its a bike so i just sit on it then hold the right brake thing down and rev and itll be fine if its in neutral? Wish me look lmao

Yes, if its in neutral, hold down the brake on the right (just incase you kick it into gear) and then you can rev.

Anymore questions about bikes then PM me, i've ridden for years.

Know its a bit late, however I would personally hold in the clutch if you are not sure if its in neutral. If you know its in neutral just make sure your left foot is off the peg all together so you definitely won't accidentally kick it into gear.

Most bike gears are like this in relation to the shifter with your left foot
5+^
4
3
2
neutral
1
So what you do is pull the clutch in while the bike is off, put it all the way to the bottom and up one, release the clutch and if the bike rolls on it's own and doesn't stop after a few cm then it is safe to start and rev, just don't put it into gear...

That should help to ensure it is in neutral unless of course it is different

Exactly you also probably should have done your cbt before buying your bike so you don't really lose anything if you don't like it

Put the key in the ignition and turn it all the way to the right, then wait for the dash lights to turn on and back off again. Make sure the neutral light is on and if it isn't then hold in the clutch and knock the lever on the left hand side in front of your left foot peg all the way hold and do a small click up (in to neutral and not 2nd - a neutral light should appear on the dash of you have one). Then press the start up button (on the right hand side of your handlebars) and to be even safer hold in the clutch (left lever).

As the bike is in neutral it will not move when you accelerate (Rev), however .. If you are still edgy about revving, hold in the clutch when you do it as it kills the power in the bike. Therefore it would just Rev and not move even if it was to be in gear.

I tried to put that in to simple terms ..
