just signed in and stated up mw3 and loaded multiplayer it said "your data is from old version, you need to reset rank and unlocks to continue " help /;

That means you've been deranked. You're going to have to reset, and start all over again. Same thing happened to me not too long ago. Sorry that it happened to you!
