I have been getting the BSOD frequently with Windows 7 when trying to play games and watch streams and was wondering if upgrading the Windows 10 is worth the go. Also, do you keep all your files and program settings when you upgrade? Replies appreciated.

Yes, you keep your files and all that good stuff. I personally am happy with Windows 10, have no complaints:P

Personally imo I enjoy having Windows 10, for sure a lot better than Windows 8. (Imo) To me its alot more organized, and just looks better. Also you do get to keep all your files, and such. Also you do have 30 days after upgrading to revert back to Windows 7 if you dislike it.

You'll keep everyone one of your files unless you desire a full like 'new' reset. Also I enjoy it more then 7/8 but that's just me it's an awesome OS and it's really improved since 8.

I'd say stay with Windows 7.
I loved Windows 10 at first but would happily downgrade to Windows 7.

Upgraded from 8 to 10, was definitely worth it. Windows 7 is one of my more favorite Windows OS. But I can say that I haven't had any issues with 10. I really enjoy, and the fact that it's back to the start menu somewhat give a little familiarity back to me.
