In my career when do you get to pick the type of player you are like a 3pt guy or a inside scorer or defender or what not I'm on in college run and want to know for when I get to the nba

You don't. You got to choose when you made your guy whether he was balanced, inside, or outside. That's the only options. Not as specific as other years so you possibly could have passed it.
