You have one end in your router and the other in the ethernet port on your PC.

Lol so you talk your mom into doing something that you dont even know anything about? Well firstly you just plug into internet port on the back of your pc, and into your router/modem.

There should be a square with a little notch at the top thats where you plug the ethernet cable into same goes with your modem/router. The squares on the back of the router or modem is what your looking for. And then you just plug the cord to each end.

Simply insert your Ethernet cable to your router then on the Ethernet port on the side or back on your Laptop/Computer wherever it's placed.
