Well after testing csgo I get the same fps on high settings, as low settings. I've been told it is an CPU problem for my laptop.

My current cpu is

Intel Celeron N2830 @ 2.16GHz

Benchmark

Now I've looked briefly and might consider this if it offers way better results and can be placed in my laptop.

Intel Core i5-2410M @ 2.30GHz

If not please recommend a upgrade.

PLEASE DO NOT SAY "get a different computer" Im not getting one until I get the money this winter.

Thanks and suggestions and useful comments will get REP.

Okay, I'm not gonna troll here, so hear me out. Laptops can only be upgraded so much until you can't do anymore. The CPU and GPU are embedded into the motherboard - so you're left with replacing the hard drive, RAM, and the battery. Even if you upgrade, it might not even help you so much anyways.

Please, if you're going to get a better PC, I really recommend just building a desktop.

This is true for majority of laptops, I have a laptop that I can swap out the GPU and CPU as needed.

OP, what is the make and model of your laptop? We need to know if we can even swap out the CPU before finding other options.
