that's what im saying man.. and I know his shooting stat is 98 which is indeed godly but I cant help but wonder if it really feels like it in game

Deadly shooting and amazing finishing and very hard to push off the ball

Back in Charlton's day don't forget that defenders were nowhere near as good a quality as they are now, most of the big teams now that Rooney hasn't scored against mostly had poor defenders, 50 goals at international level is pretty good, don't get why people are against him so much

Because he doesn't perform in important games at tournaments. He only has 1 WC goal to his name for a start and I think 5/6 in Euro's. All the rest have come in Qualifiers or Friendlies.

He might be our top goal scorer but Lineker is probably our best striker.

You said he doesn't perform in tournaments, so I said that nobody else turns up, I never said that you said it.... and from how you're slating rooney for his goals you'd rather have Vardy, because he's more likely to score against Germany or Spain etc right?....
