The speakers in my car are garbage. I was wondering if I can plug my logitech z623 computer speakers into my car and use them instead. I have a place to plug in the power and audio but would it work?

As long as you have power i'm pretty sure they'd work, not too sure it'll sound that great though.

Yea as long as you get them wired right. But it won't sound as good since they aren't door speakers. Id invest in a new set of speakers in my opinion

If you have DC to AV converter it should work fine.

If you would like to let us know what kind of car you have and a budget ill gladly see what can be done to get you proper sound.

I have a 2008 ford escape. It's garbage. I don't really have a budget either. My mom is getting me a new car. Just wanted to use my computer speakers for now if possible.
I'm not sure what a DC to av converter is. The plan was to just plug it into the outlet in my car and plug the audio into the audio port in my car

If your car has a factory wall outlet thats pretty awesome.

This is what I was talking about: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Yeah that's what I have. So it's as simple as plugging it in and go?

When I was looking it up people were saying things like you gotta wire it into the stereo or get a transformer that supports a certain amount of volts and you need amps and stuff like that. That's why I decided to ask here

Lol, this is what my friend did, make sure you unplug the stock speakers too. I would suggest using the power converter instead of cutting and splicing your speakers in, because then you are committed.

No, you'll be fine with just plugging it into the inverter.

Still I think your best option would be to purchase aftermarket speakers.
