So as I turned on my PC earlier, I heard a sizzle then saw and smelt a small puff of smoke raise from the case. I took apart the PC to see a melt in the graphics card.
I have no idea how this happened as nothing changed at all over night.

The Graphics Card is a MSI NVIDIA GTX660 TF 2GB

I did stupidly try turning on the computer again for a second time very soon after which could have done more damage, but I think it's a bit late to worry about that.

So basically im posting this to ask whether it is repairable?

I would not be planning to do this myself, I would more than likely take it to a computer parts repair store however there is quite a rarity of them near me. [UK]

Also, if it is repairable.. what sort of price would I be looking at? Because if it is not repairable I am looking at getting a GTX 750Ti for ~£100. So if the repair cost is high, i will more than likely just get the new part instead.

Thanks in advance

That's what I was thinking because it looks like the board itself has a hole in.
But I've known too much about damaged parts so needed some confirmation..
Thanks for the fast reply

I can't see any components mounted at that location on the board. Check to see if your warranty if over before you do anything, but you may want to look at the other side of the board by taking the heatsink off.

Warranty is out, had a look at the other side of the board and nothing is there.
