My mate just did it and it only gave him the loan messi so I'm just assuming they've patched it now because he didn't get any points

It's because there's an xbox service alert/limitations. It should work once that's gone.

IDK then, I'd try again in a few hours, see if that works. I did it earlier today so i don't think it's been patched.

This happened a few months ago and there was panic but then we all realized that the Xbox services were limited. The same thing is happening now because of the BO3 beta.
