Z97 wrote I think you are being a little inpatient. People do have lives, families, jobs etc. so expecting to receive your service quick is a little rude IMO.

But if this is the way that the person makes money, shouldn't it be done in a timely fashion?

Not everyone that hosts only makes money from hosting, its merley ia little extra cash on the side,

Yes it should be done ASAP!

But at least wait a couple hours, or maybe until the next day if needs be!
But any longer and you're right.

I simply meant not receiving it at all, or in a weeks time is a bit over the top.

If you don't recieve it at all, Get youre money back on paypal?

i just dont see why people trust members with 1 rep and 2 posts, straight of the bat,

It just seems a bit stupid to me. Surely people have more common sense than that

the situation i was saying is if like you are purchasing and the person says they are online, and won't give you that service immediately whilst being online.

If you send your money through family and friends you can't, and most people ask you too do that so that they are safe and they can't lose money, and it's not only the little guys, even the ones with more rep and a higher post count sometimes do the dirty stuff.

I will say this about scamming. It is really the people who are getting scammed. Some scams are good, but the majority of them are so obvious that the people that get scammed almost deserve it.

I used to "hack" people's accounts essentially for them to realize they need to be safer. I would tell them that I can give them X prestige on call of duty X, or I could make them mod on Runescape or X private server and all I need is to get on your account. They would give me their information within 5-10 mins. Really? I wouldn't do anything, occasionally I would do a license transfer to get a game or something but the majority of the time I was trying to tell people that they need to watch out. Then I realized that there are too many stupid people out there and I quit doing it. You can't fix stupid. If I where writing down all their info and checking for credit cars and stuff, I could be rolling in cash (provided I didn't get arrested lol).

Bottom line guys, don't be so trusting. If someone doesn't have proof of something, move along. If it sounds too good to be true, move alone.

SurrealV wrote and all that can be done is a ban at most.

What do you honestly expect Staff to do when you get scammed? Refund your money that YOU lost because YOU didn't take better care of it? Go to the scammer's house and demand for the money to be returned? Torture him/her until he gives up his PayPal loggin information? There is nothing they can do except ban them.

There are Stickies for a reason. If you do not pay people you either trust, have a sticky or are a 'Trusted Seller' then you pretty much deserve to get scammed.

This is like giving a thief your wallet and telling them not to run, that you're going to be to be right back. What do you honestly expect to happen?

I was scammed once by a member of this site which is fortunately no longer here. There are many legitimate members and the number of honest people out weigh the scum which scam.
Fortunately staff are reliable and willing to help. Keep all deals through PayPal and through the TTG PM system for your best chances of getting your payment back.
