Hi there

I am buying a motorbike soon and I have been looking at buying a GoPro camera to mount to my helmet in order to record footage, either for insurance reasons in the event of something happening or just to record having fun. The question which I have is, do I need a really good computer to upload the footage to or would an average laptop be ok ? I do not want the footage to be laggy or in bad quality, therefore I thought I would ask on this site as I am far from knowledgeable when it comes to computer graphic capabilities etc. I would not want to buy the camera to find out that the laptop is not suitable, therefore I thought I would ask. I appreciate any help & may +Rep for helpful replies.

The camera - GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition
The laptop which I use - HP Notebook 15-r150sa

It looks like it will be able to render 720p but it wouldn't even scratch 4k without completely shutting down, hope i helped

So in your opinion the laptop should be fine with handling the 720p quality ? Without lag or quality issues ?

Thats 100% correct yes sir, but try to keep the "insane 420 mlg" editing to a minimum
