Is there a loot cave I can do to get engrams? If so where is the location?

Loot caves are not functional anymore. Personally, i get most of my engrams from "Key farming" which if you're not familiar with this, then I would advise you look up a video on it. I usually like 1-3 engrams per chest. Good luck!

Every ten minutes or so a group of wolfs spawn kill then open the chest than repeat ;)

Would just do strikes. Earn about 5-10 engrams each strike and a small possibility of a couple of those being legendary or exotic. You can also earn legendary/exotic weapons at reward screen.
