For the last few weeks I have been watching "American Ninja Warrior". I've watched the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons, and I am really impressed by the Americans and the series itself. I have not been able to watch this years season since I am in Norway, so we are not 100 % updated.

I am wondering if anyone of you have been watching American Ninja Warrior, and what are your impressions?

I hope that I have posted in the right section.

Thank You!

I watched a bunch of that in 2011/2012, it was a pretty good show. Did any American ever complete it yet?

No, I don't think any American has completed it yet. There was one season where only one American managed to get to stage 3, and he were close to finish, but he fell. Also, the following season there were a few more to qualify for stage 3. But no American has gotten to stage 4. I haven't watched the 2015 season, and no data is available on Wikipedia. In general, I am really surprised that no American has managed to beat it since some of the competitors are veterans and rookies who are pretty sick at what they are doing.

Ah I see, when I was like 13 I wanted to be on there and be a Ninja warrior. During commercials I would be doing like pushups and stuff, now that I look back at it it was pretty helpful too.

haha, Halo = soon to be ninja? That sounds cool.
Yeah, David Campbell is a name known to many. He used to be the American who came the longest. I believe it was until 2012 or so. And later on he has managed to fail at stage one in the finals, which is surprising. The last time was actually 2014.
David Campbell, Derek Nakamoto, Paul Kasemir and James Mcgrath are the ones I believe will manage to beat Mount Midoryama one day.

I love watching ANW, I used to want to compete but realized I am to ninja for it. *1ninja1*

But my impression is that it is awesome because it allows the ametuar ninjas show their set of skils.
