Why do I get such low fps with my gtx 980? I get like 90 fps on Battlefield 4, 55 on Hitman Absolution, 55 on tomb raider and 55 on crysis warhead. I'm not sure what other details to post so ask away

Motherboard - Asrock H97 Anniversary
Power Supply - EVGA 500B 80 Plus
Hard Drive 1 - Western Digital Blue 1TB (7200 RPM)
Hard drive 2 - Seagate 250GB (7200 RPM)
Ram - 8GB's of G.Skill Ripjaws X Series @1600mhz
Graphics Card - EVGA GTX 980 FTW
CPU - Intel i5-4690k
OS - Windows 8.1 64 bit

Only thing i see that could possibly be a reason for that is the wattage of your power supply. The graphics card will give a minimum wattage. but its always good to go well above it to make sure that you get optimal performance from each of your components. (That said, i havent looked up the minimum wattage for your GPU. but its worth a check.)

im using a 980 ti with 750 psu so shouldnt do too much of a difference? im new to pc gaming so not too good at it :/

Have you got the latest drivers? And also what resolution are you playing at?

Most likely your PSU bud.... you could try doing a very small OC on your CPU and see if that changes anything but if it doesn't then it's most defiantly your PSU
