Ok, so I decided to post this on reddit and got a bunch of negative responses, and was wondering what the nice people of TTG thought.
My Idea is to be able to download games before paying, like you can download a pre-released game so you can play it at midnight when it comes out.
I'm already aware this is possible since buying a digital copy of the game just gives you a license to play it. If you just download it you wouldn't be able to play it because you haven't bought a license yet.
So for example say I wanted to buy dragon age: inquisition but I don't get paid for another couple days. I could start the download now and it would be done by the time I can pay for it. Where as if I couldn't start the download until I paid for it, I would have to wait awhile.
I think this would be very useful and if you agree, feel free to leave a comment and a vote for this on:

Yeah but you're missing the point he is making, basically what he is saying is that there should be a way to download the game file itself (40gb or whatever) but you only get access to it when the game is released to the public, so for example, i have pre ordered Fallout 4, what this user is saying is that there should be a way for us to start the download for Fallout 4 but it is only playable or executable AFTER the release date, so instead of waiting a few hours on the release date, those who have pre ordered the game can enjoy the midnight release and play on midnight as the game was already downloaded prior to release, i hope this helps and makes sense!

So what's wrong with the current preloading? You just don't wanna pay for it?
Who's gonna pay for the extra massive bandwidth required for this foolishness???
You got a negative reaction on reddit cause it is a bad idea, and not practical, and requires extra costs not considered, just go buy the disc and load it in 15 minutes like the rest of us if your internet is so slow.
Also considering fallout 4 is still being worked on, why would you think downloading it now is an option?

Who said anything about not paying for it you absolute goon You don't understand what i'm saying, i think they do it for PC you DOWNLOAD the game before hand and you can only PLAY the game on RELEASE DAY. I'm not saying anything about not paying & there is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet speed, my ISP is BT (Infinity 2 Fibre Optic) don't go shooting your mouth when you don't know facts.
What are you talking about? i'm not even on Reddit & i think that you forgot a big point, whether you get the disc or not you still have to download the game before you play it
This whole thing could've been avoided if you wasn't so stuck up and arrogant, try actually hearing people out and putting yourself in there shoes rather than being so critique. The user had made a valid point, just because you didn't quite understand what he/she was saying does not automatically mean that he is wrong and that his/her point is irrelevant.

I have honestly thought of this same idea and I for one think it would be awesome! There are sometimes where I know I'll be buying a game eventually but just haven't purchased it yet!
