I was watching a few videos explaining this, According to 1 or 2 videos i saw when you you up the hz from 60+ it will slightly raise the response time on monitors (1ms grey to grey). Is this statement true, And if so does this happen to all monitors that have 144hz support?

Monitors i was viewing and learning a bit about:

I assume that the 144hz would be worth the small amount of response time that would be added to the viewing experience, Although while playing games that require the fastest and best reactions and gear it could be very bad. Anyone have some intel to share?

60 Hz monitors have 1s/60, or ~16.9 ms, of persistence. 144 Hz monitors have 1s/144, or ~6.9 ms, of persistence. Pixel transitions are not an issue and even if GtG was increased by 1 ms, you still have about 10 ms less motion blur by using 144 Hz instead of 60 Hz. Your best reaction time is around 200 ms for comparison and input lag is not zero.
