So my galaxy s6 edge screen decided to stop working this morning, it turns on and the screen senses my touches but won't respond to them. On the lock screen it shows the bubbles where I press but I can't drag them to unlock it

Have you dropped it recently or maybe had any liquid get inside of it at all that you may not even be aware of, but is it possible that liquid got in?

I'd take it to the carrier store wherever you got it from if there is one near you and maybe they can run a diagnostic on it, or they can take it apart and see if it's water damaged... don't mention to them you think that it might be water damaged though just have them look at it and see if they can help you.

The phone itself still works, you just need to get the screen replaced.

I know when my screen gets wet, even a tiny drop, it makes the screen trip out. Make sure it's clean.
