Yeah I really want to sell this AK47 case hardened, let me just try selling it for 50% less of what everyone else is offering so it creates a snowball effect of idiots, easy money right? No your **** wrong, not only are you **** everyone who just wants to make a profit from it but your screwing yourself over. Supply and Demand, people want it? Then they will buy it. Who decides Skin prices? I open a case which costs like $3 and let me just sell the skin i get from it for 20 cents, who in the ****? The cheapest gun should atleast cost enough to break even if not slightly less not a **** 99.1% loss of money, any skin better than the worst should slowly cost more and more, It seems everyone has it in their heads that case opening is a complete waste, so they sell their stuff at truck stop restroom floor change. Before anyone says well no one will buy the skins if they arent cheap, that is not true, the very fact that alot of people buy tons of skins worth $60 and up is proof that its not about the money.

No, not all skins should be selling for 99.1% of the amount it costs to open a case. People don't want that trashy ass looking skin on their weapon for one and for two there are so many of them in existence. The market is random, it is in real life as well, you can try and predict what will happen but you are just gambling on it. People sell skins cheaper because they need the money fast, simply don't want that skin, or because they are done with the game and want to buy something else. Supply and demand, if there is a boreal forest BS, not many people are going to want that skin. So if it is priced at $2, then very few people will ever buy it, so the price gets lowered and lowered until people buy it frequently.

I'm not sure why this is a rant, to be honest. If they want to sell it for dirt cheap, let them. Once that single skin selling for $0.20 is gone, the other buyers won't have a choice of buying it for that cheap, as the others will be the normal price. The market only snowballs because idiotic sellers don't realize that if one skin sells for that cheap, not every single skin has to sell for that cheap.

Simple solution: Don't be stupid and add to the snowball effect.

Come on, your telling me people want fast money AKA 15 cents for a skin that costed over $3 to get? People buy knives all the time for $100s of dollars, even really ugly ones, just for the sake of having a knife. Yes a ugly skin like boreal forest isn't appealing to buyers but don't forget it wasn't cheap to get, the name alone should hold some value at the very least, It seems like all the pricing is rigged by the community itself so that only bulk buyers ever make a profit statistically, for no reason at all. They have nothing to actually gain by doing that.

Knives are rare, not as common. Ugly or not, there are not near as many as some skins. And I am not talking about fast money with the cheap skins, you cant expect to put a skin hardly anyone likes and there are so many of that is going for $.20, and put it up to $1 and sell. That isn't how the market works, I don't think you understand the whole supply and demand. People don't care that it cost $3 for someone to get that skin, all people care is what they are paying for it. And if they don't think the skins it worth what it is at, they simply wont buy it until people keep putting it lower and lower in hope of selling theirs. And then it starts to sell and that's where the market price settles, sometimes it will rise a bit or lower a bit. Skins usually lower when new cases come out because they want to open the new case, buy the new skins, or there are simply better skins out that are more pleasing.
