Download ADW Cleaner - Really good at removing unwanted stuff.
Install bitdefender total security to keep them away.
Your welcome.

There's a plethora of reasons why your computer could be running slow. I'm not sure why you want a new OS, you can't just "get a new one" without spending money on a new serial key. (or pirating one, which is both ironic and illegal and I advise against it) If you could, post your system specs and run a virus scan / attempt a removal. Chances are those "loads of virus" are small annoyances like PuPs, adware and spyware programs.

Depending on the type of key, the OS can be re-installed and use the same key thus sorting out OPs problem.
OP- if you have a recovery CD for your OS, you should be able to use that to re-install your OS.
