I have the backwards compatibility preview program. I have a code to download the game toy soldiers.. But when I go to the Xbox one marketplace and try redeeming the code it says I need to be on 360? So how do I play it on the Xbox one then?

It's not compatible with the xbox one yet. Microsoft is slowly adding in more games. You can redeem the code on the 360 and if/when the game is compatible with the one, you can always download it onto the one again.

Oh my bad. Didn't see that. Redeem it on your 360 and then go to your one and redownload it.

You could redeem the code on Xbox.com and on the preview program app on the Xbox One click quests, then click on backward compatibility and you will see toy soldiers there.
