I want to purchase a full stereo system for my WRX (same one in the post below)
this is what I want to get but I need help to see if this would be compatible together and if not, can you tell me how to make it work
18" SoundQubed HDC 4.0
Alpine PDX V9 5 Channel Amp
JBL speakers
Separate amp for the speakers.
Do I need a capacitor or another power source to handle the 18 inch sub or can the PDX handle it?
Please help me with this.

Good choice of sub. It will take just about anything you throw at it.
I was very confused on where the 5 channel amp was coming from. It says it's 2 ohm stable. So even if you bridged all channels at two ohms you would only get 500 watts rms per channel. That would barely move the sub.
amps I would recommend that are close to the Alpines price range.

If you me to pick out some JBL speakers for you just list the year of your WRX
If you want me to pick out an amp to push the speakers, again just list the year of you WRX.
To properly run a multi-amp system and a somewhat high powered system you will need a HO alternator and I recommend at least two extra battery's.
You will be able to fit all of that in your WRX

I'm going to personally stick with rockford just because of affordability and I've owned every single one of their amps with the exception of the 10K

Obviously with more power the louder you will get. Choose amps depending on budget.
Yes, you can run any sub without extra batteries or HO alternator. I personally recommend anyone with a 1000+ RMS system and or a high powered multi amp system for that matter to have at least one to two extra batteries with HO alternator for optimal performance. If you want a good quality system you have to spend some money for good quality sound.

I just don't want my lights to dim or flicker when im driving or cause any electrical issue for that matter but at the same time, bumpin some loud ass music.

do you really need an 18" sub? i had twin 12" kicker subs with built in amp and they went great.

its not what i need. its what i want.
ive already owned two 12" JL audio W6xV2 subs and i was content with them.
now i want to see what else there is to offer with a bigger sub.
