My ps4 won't turn on and I don't know why, it beeps but it doesn't light up and start, what's wrong and how do i fix it?

Plug out all cables and re connect maybe blow some dust out of the ports. If that doesnt work your console maybe broken.

My friend had the same problem and it turned out to be an issue with the power cord. Do you have any friends that can lend you their power cord to test it out?

Hmm sounds odd sorry to say I'd be panicing in the moment, it may be a short in your power cord or your display settings may be set up wrong if you hold the power button til you hear the third beep. Roughly 15 seconds then it'll start up 360p quality should open easily and show up well then and yeah just change em back to your settings.
