Often times, in my area at least, the people who wear Bape and Supreme shit are pricks.
I really don't care what someone wears at all, but I'm not going to put up with some kid who bought $1,000 worth of Bape clothes with his mom's credit card giving me shit for wearing $70 jeans.
In my experience, the people who are into that sort of stuff are obnoxious.

Well imo Bape is obviously overpriced because of the hype that has been built same for Supreme. The quality of the clothing is average and does not match the price point. If someone wants to spend $$$ on clothing why not i'm not the one buying it. But the quality should be top notch if one is to do so.

So glad I checked out The Rant section today.
People who complain about us buying designer shit are the people who aren't interested in it. They're the people who have different hobbies or interests, but instead of focusing on their own interests they like to focus on ours.
Someone might collect stamps or spend crazy money on Pokemon Cards (Are those still a thing?) but you're not gonna hear me saying anything bad about it, because it's not my money. Presumably they earned their money, so they can spend it the way they want to spend it.

i dont care what others wear its their choice. i buy stuff because i like it its that simple last thing i bought was a no fear t-shirt which cost me £5.

In my own opinion, i would have to say: why does it matter what other people think? It might be annoying and downright rude of them but just ignore them. I know guys that spend thousands on their trucks (which i think is dumb but it isnt mine so who cares) and i know people who spend money on clothes. You are who you are and shouldnt let what others think or say about your lifestyle bother you. On the clothing trend however i do have to comment on a particular part of that: it is just that, a trend. Nobody but celebrities could afford high end clothes because there wasnt any affordable versions, the hipster age came out and saw an increase in the demand for things like that so companies starting making clothes similar to those of upwards prices. I am not insinuating any of this towards you, i am just stating why people might have a problem with spending money on clothes, because certain styles will be irrelevant in 2-5 years, again though i say: who cares what they think. Be you man.
