I was playing competitive so when the game ended I left when it showed the scoreboard as usual, then at the main menu it says im in a 7 day cooldown. WTF is up with that?!

it says i have been kicked too many times. If someone tells me how i can show you the highlights of my match and you will see i finished the game

Most likely an in game glitch I suggest you go on steam support and try to figure it out they have fourms specifically for cooldowns

it warns you before hand about getting a cooldown even if you are on the scoreboard after the game is done i wait till the ranks are up then leave and i dont get the message about leaving if i do that

You have to wait until the game fully ends after the final scoreboard, even leaving at the scoreboard will give you a cooldown period.
