Alexyy wrote PH-TC14PE is a decent cooler looks nice as well but you'll need to have low profile memory and enough room for a case.

seen those used on Youtube and I think in Puget Systems, I have a pretty big case, its the NZXT H440? But atm I'm just using a cooler master test bench, may post a photo up tomorrow or something in a new thread. But yeah the PH-TC14PE looks sick

it'll fit in there, what memory you using?

Avexir Platinum Series, they don't have heatspreaders so I'd imagine it'd fit alright, I mean all in the end I'm going custom loop anyways but it's just I need something to see me through the struggle of saving the money for the loop haha

Well if you're going to change soon I wouldn't spend much on a cooler seems kinda like a waste.

Idk I'm sure I could recycle the cooler, I have half of a computer left just from old ones I've built and they're alright parts so I might just build a new one out of the parts I replace or just sell and put the difference towards the new one, there's plenty of ways to go about it I suppose which is what I'm enjoying about a fresh build[/b]

you could get the 212 evo which will give you some small overclocks.

IMO you should sell all the parts a build a new pc, start by putting the 0956( 8320 on ebay.

I wouldnt want to invest in a custom loop on a shitty 8320 :/

What would be so shit about the choice of processor? I can always go to the 8370 no problem, I don't see the point in the 9590 it seems like a factory overclocked 8370 tbh, same architecture and chip etc. stupid move by AMD

I like seeing these requests.

First off, I want to know what motherboard your running. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Your not going to get a good overclock unless you on a 6+2 / 8+2 phase mobo.

If you dont have a cooler, Id get a closed loop. You want that heat from that CPU out of your case ASAP. Depending on your budget, you could get a h100I

Id take a 8320 over an I3 in a heart beat. The AMD platform is where I learned a lot about PC's and done some great overclocking on it. I had so much fun on that platform and its by far a bad CPU. Once you get that thing to 4.5Ghz [quite easy], your competing with an I5. [Within reason]

Actually, I had mine to 4.8Ghz and was in touching distance of a 4770k [Cinebench R15] Though, synthetic benchmarks doesn't mean crap.
