Hi TTG,
Just sold up my bitfenix prodigy APU build and I'm going back to dedicated graphics. I've bought an 8320, I've saw people get right upto 5.0GHz on it but I'm wondering if there is anyone on here that has done it with the 8320? Maybe eve the 50 & 70? Thanks

first off all, what psu and motherboard and cooler will this chip be running on.
On stock cooler don't expect anywhere near 5GHz on that chipset. Although personally I have hit 4.9GHz on a friends 8320 fairly easy so as long as you have sufficient power and thermal outtake you should be good to go for fairly high clock speeds.

NZXT HALE90 V2 1000w psu, seems overkill but it will also accommodate the cards nicely, I was considering either the closed loop corsair H60 or just going straight out on a custom loop. Sure a closed loop would still get me from the stock 3.5 potentially near the mid 4 range, I've seen the odd one or two running 5 but the majority is either 4.7 or 4.9

If you are going closed loop ever go for a H100 or just get an air cooler. I decent air cooler would cost less and perform better than a H60.
A closed loop on that chip would get you 4.5+ easy.

Noctua would probablies be my choice of weapon if I go air, only thing is size consumption in the case, I wanna keep it tidy with a strict colour scheme of all white. But then I have the problem with the closed loop as the tubing is a fixed size, which would leave me with custom loop, only con would be the maintenance and price. Thanks for the advice though it's left me with a lot to consider now!

PH-TC14PE is a decent cooler looks nice as well but you'll need to have low profile memory and enough room for a case.

seen those used on Youtube and I think in Puget Systems, I have a pretty big case, its the NZXT H440? But atm I'm just using a cooler master test bench, may post a photo up tomorrow or something in a new thread. But yeah the PH-TC14PE looks sick

Avexir Platinum Series, they don't have heatspreaders so I'd imagine it'd fit alright, I mean all in the end I'm going custom loop anyways but it's just I need something to see me through the struggle of saving the money for the loop haha

Well if you're going to change soon I wouldn't spend much on a cooler seems kinda like a waste.
