I have a $500-$600(CAD) budget. i will be using it for gaming and music production like Ableton live 9. For the gaming aspect of it i wanna at least run games like gta at the highest setting i can get it to for the price of the build. thx in advance

Get 1 4gb stick of ram if you cant go over budget but you would want to buy a second as soon as possible.

dope thx man. ill give this one a shot. i can manage to go a bit over the budget.

$20 over with nicer/better case, Seasonic OEM PSU, and kind of colour matched rig(sort of black/red scheme going on). Add an SSD when you can and you'll be sorted. R9 270 will be playing games at med-high settings @ 1080p for the most part. R9 280 will be playing at high-ultra settings @ 1080p for the most part.

Oh yeah, you'll need to make sure and ask wherever you purchase the motherboard from to update it to the latest BIOS.
