I want to at least be able to play Minecraft and since my birthday is coning up, I was going to ask for one. But I am needing to know about how much and one I could buy that would work, also requirements for it to run without lag.

Minecraft can be run on most low end laptops...

It's a easy game to run.

It's all dependent on what kind of settings you want to run at. Like Craig said, basic minecraft can be run on just about any "modern" computer.
