Aidan- wrote I have the Corsair H100i and I think for the price your paying it offers excellent quality from a great brand so win from me. I have my i74790K overclocked at 4.5GHz and render 2Hour vids max I see it hit is like 75. Other than that yes it may be a little overpriced but meh good quality, great brand awesome lights haha no regret with my purchase. If not Nzxt offer a few good closed loop liquid coolers which are nice.

I'm not saying the Hydro series is bad, but there are better. Corsair are just over-hyped as a brand as well IMO. Their RAM is nothing special, since well, none of it is. Other than their 128GB DDR4 kits, I suppose but only because they're one of the first to offer that. Their PSUs are mainly shit, with a few exceptions. Their cases are usually pretty poor, unless you're spending a fair amount and even then, there are usually better cases for a similar price, or less. Their AIOs are the same. They do have some decent SSDs, but again, usually something just as good, or better for a similar price. They mostly offer mediocre components that are often over-priced, and people jump at the chance to own Corsair products, simply for the name. Example;

Nepton 240M provides better cooling and LiqTech 240 is significantly better built, both are only slightly more expensive than an H100i.

Plus Corsairs fans are total crap.

^at least you don't have an RM650
*cough*Craig*cough*

tbh, Corsair peripherals are alright, a little over-priced though. Their mech keyboards are decent but CM have some keyboards just as good for lower prices, same with mice. MM200E master race tho. I had AF140's in my rig but swapped 'em for Be Quiet fans, run a bit quieter, cool just as well and cost less.

I too have Corsair RAM, but it's nothing special. Only reason I went with it is because it matched my rig the best and was a decent price. Corsair have some really shit PSUs and shit budget cases, the rest of their stuff is fine, but they don't really have anything special and a lot of the time, they're over-priced.

Corsair is a pretty decent brand I mean yh there are certainly better products out there which are not hyped up about at all but for me the h100i serves me well and I like the look of it plus with my antec 1200 it was a **** push to get it in the rear but I didn't give up lol and I certainly wasn't taking it back after the effort

H100i is good, mine does a good job.
however I wish I had spent a tenner more for the Kelvin S36 from Fractal Design that was on sale at the time, a pretty dank 360mm rad.
