A binman is someone who drives around in a truck collecting 'Bins / Trash Cans'
This is a council job.

To be quite honest kid, you've got a job that you want to do when you leave School. A lot of kids don't even know what do have for dinner.

As for been a Bin Man, it may seem like a really bad job, but it isn't.

Its good pay, for an easy job, its a job for life as its council. You'll get a good pension for when you retire, the majority of the workers are all sound.

If you want to do something, go for it. Ive been there and done it, it is a good job. But, knuckle down and get the grades you need, whether you want them or not, there isnt many jobs out there today, and youve got to have something that the next person hasnt got. Failing that its who you know.

Good luck.

Lawyers get really good pay too. Not worth hating life just for the symbolism of wealth which is money.

Honestly dude you just need to figure out what you want out of your life. Once I realized that; I wanted to make lots of $$$ coming out of college. I also was into computer programming, and I really enjoy doing that. Considering how huge computer science is right now (literally my friend is a sophmore in college and has a job offer for 6 figures when he graduates, not to mention he has like a 2.5 GPA). By 2020 there will be something like 400,000 computer science jobs filled out of 1.2 million. Companies are literally fighting fist to cuffs for CS majors. That being said, I am not trying to convince you to be a CS major I am just stating why I decided that is the field I want to go into.

TLDR; I figured out what I wanted to go into, looked at colleges I might want to go to / the bottom GPA I could get out of highschool if I really wanted to go to a decent CS school. Then I found the motivation to try in school (atleast a bit more), and I recently started building a portfolio for potential colleges / jobs once I graduate etc.

You really just have to figure out what you want out of life man . It's not easy, but once you do you will certainly be motivated.

Dude, Your life is just beginning, Currently you're at School, Enjoy it, concentrate on what you want to do when you come to your A-Levels, Some people make their minds up pretty quickly and some don't.

Don't set your mind on something straight away because it will change
