Yin wrote Gray was handcuffed and put in leg irons without having a seat belt, even though they were ordered to put the seat belt on him. He was falsely arrested for he did nothing wrong. He had a knife on him that was legal. Running from cops is not illegal unless you are under arrest, which there was no reason to arrest him. This is why some of those officers arrested now have false imprisonment charges against them. He should have never been in the back of that van to begin with. In 2005, Dondi Johnson suffered a fatal spinal injury in Baltimore when cops went on a rough ride with him when he also was handcuffed and had no seat belt on. Looks like police vans need cameras just as the police themselves do.

But thats not totally true. Yes, there wasnt a warrant out for his arrest, but if you were a police officer, saw him in a decently crowded area with a knife, and ran after you trying confronting him, chances are you would pursue him. Thats how the law works. That shows he has something to hide. If he had nothing to hide, he would have used his 5th amendment and refused to talk without a lawyer and the officers would have been on their ways.

As for the truck thing, unless you're completely blasted, you can sit straight and support yourself from flying all over a car even while handcuffed. If he seriously wasnt able to, he would have laid down on the seat and been fine.

Have you ever been in the back of a police truck ?
And This is not Nazi Germany, but by your logic, just do what ever the cops tell you to right?

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying... If you obey a police officer and respect them, they have nothing against you... Therefore nothing will happen to you. When you disrespect them, they have reasons to figure out what the heck you're doing which could lead to bad things happening.

What if Gray just listened to the officer? They would have acted about his actions, made sure the knife was legal, and he would have been on his way.

What if Brown just listened to the officer? He would have been handcuffed, arrested, brought to the station and released 24 hours later (at the latest due to the fact he got contacted due to a robbery at a gas station down the street).

EDIT: When you disobey the law, you are a CRIMINAL. CRIMINALS belong in jail. Welcome to the legal system

OMFG you are the definition of WHITE BOY. You just don`t get this country. It`s not as simple as respect the officer. Just being black in America means You`re under educated, and a criminal.

Wow xD Did I seriously just read that?! xD Where did I ever say this only pertains to only blacks? No where. If you're white and you disobey them, you're a criminal too! And yes, I am a "WHITE BOY"? I think..?

What i`m saying is you will never understand how it is to be black. We can be perfect in every way, but still will be considered criminals.

Thats not totally true. I know many african americans that are insanely successful. In fact, there is a man, Dan, down the street. Him and his wife are african american. He went to Berkley, owns a $750,000 dollar house, and drives a Ferrari. His wife has a Bentley. Your statement is not true. But when things like his happen more often and 90% of the participants are African American, you know where to look on why that stereotype is still around

Was MLK Jr a criminal? Nelson Mandela, Rosa Parks? Are they all criminals that belong in jail?
