Hey im looking at getting a mass storage for my gaming pc to store games movies tv etc. so anyway im looking at the wd hard drives and there are all the different colors of hardrive like black blue red green. Which one is best for me? and what do they all mean

Blacks are for maximum performance.
Greens are eco drives they run slower and consume less power.
Blues are just slightly slower than black drives but a lot cheaper.
Reds are mainly built for NAS type storage they will have a longer warranty but will be slower.



I'd suggest a 120-240GB SSD for operating system and a blue drive for films and games.

get the blue or green, which ever is cheapest.

Ok i have 250gb of ssd so im gonna go with a black or blue Thanks
