no after you make the purchase amazon redirects you to a page with the code clearly presented to you. Just type the code off of the screen or copy and paste and redeem on the xbox website.

when you proceed to checkout after you fill out billing information itll give you a total and the shipping and handling will be added to your total. It will tell you at the end how much it will cost but yes if you live in the US the shipping shouldnt add much to the price 25 should be enough to make the purchase!
