Hey TTG, i want to know if this is a good PSU, i am planning on having dual 970's or something like that in the future, is this a good enough PSU or can you suggest me one. My budget is 100GBP and i would want it to be as close to all black as possible and be fully modular.

I run my SLI 970's with this;

750W is more than enough for 2x 970's.

However, this is also a great unit;

Alright, thank you. Quick question too, on the psu, they say something like Sata x4 or something, does that mean i can plug in let's say, an ssd directly into the psu and have power to that or not?

I know this may be a stupid question by my motherboard only holds 2 sata ports and that's being used for my HDD and my disk drive.

No. You will have a modular cable that will have a chain of 3 or 4 sata power cables, which will power an SSD but you still need a data cable connected from your motherboard to your SSD as well, it's the same for an HDD. The cable from the PSU powers it, the cable from your motherboard carries the information to your system. I mean, you could probably plug your SSD into just the PSU and have it run, but you wouldn't be able to make use of it.
