I'm not feeling the Curved "U" & you don't need to add a cool background to the back of the logo, just a simple grey background or black background for a simple and professional showcase

I really love the concept
but
If you did this with a script font

It's a pretty cool idea. Kind of reminds me of an EDM artist's logo. Only thing I think is an issue with this is that you've used the liquify effect on the text to do the 'fluid' swipes through out the logo. This makes the logo look sloppy and should have been done with the pentool instead. In the future if you're looking to make it look cleaner that's where you should start. I'll give you 8/10 for the idea though, just the execution wasn't perfect
