Some guy has just started ddosing me today for my like $12 cs:go inventory. I got a VPN but he just gets passed that, is there anyway to stop this?

Don't think there is much you can do if he already has you're IP

Turn your router off for about 20-30 minutes and if your ISP is anything like mine, when you turn it back on after you should have a new IP address.

Last week I got booted offline 4 times and each time I done that and got assigned a new IP address.

He already has your IP, so masking IPs isn't going to help you at all. The only thing that is going to help you if turning off your router for 15 minutes or so, so that you get a new IP and then not communicating with that user anymore.

Call your provider. They'll be able to change your IP over the system. It'll only require a re-boot. No new modem or anything. Or, as other have suggested, turn your modem off for about an hour. After the DDOSER notices you're not online he'll most likely stop for a bit.

A VPN wont stop the DDOS it only prevents it by hiding your real IP address. If he has your real IP address then a VPN wont help.

Try the suggestion I gave you as like I said it worked for me on 4 occasions last week.

You're going to have to take it then, if he has your gradual IP, you're ****. I would advise getting a router that doesn't have a static IP, but a dynamic, with a dynamic you can change your IP when you turn off your router for about a minute. Call your ISP, that's all you can do, or use some sort of dedicated server for a web connectivity.

Just turn your router off for 5 mins. That works for me.
