I'm not interested in the story line in SAO. But I am interested in that kind of technology. I've heard that it could almost be impossible due to having to intercept brain waves and replicate senses and being able to feel like you are actually in the world. Also iv heard if this technology were to be created it would become way to addicting and people would forget to come back to the real world and cause America to become even more lazy lol. But anyway anybody have opinions or facts relating to this technology?

i think that would be really awesome but the show kind of does think that someone could do that with the game and kill every one

Maybe not as its used in SAO but it's already been invented. It holds you in place and you walk on a 360* rotating format, like your actually walking and these belts hold you in place so you don't actually move from your position.

It is on its way..... There is no doubt in my mind that we are extremely close to figuring it out. When we do im going to find SAO and i will clear it. Cause i feel like it nuff said.

There is a huge difference between virtual reality and the concept behind NerveGear, as stated virtual reality is on the way, slowly but surely, and soon enough it will advance to a point in which it becomes the norm and replaces traditional devices such as computers, consoles, phones ect. At this point, I would assume that NerveGear could be possible, but not for a long time afterwards, as it stands now, we are decades away from even considering making something such as NerveGear.

Nerve gear would be great. I suggest that everyone go watch the film gamer the film it self is decent but the concept of future gaming will blow your mind it ain't no VR gaming it actual reality gaming.

Of course it should be created, who doesn't want something that awesome. Project Morpheus and Occulus Rift on the other hand are making virtual reality look bad in my opinion.
