Brand is what you're paying for aswell as quality if only I could spend £85 on a jacket. That's T-Shirt money for me sadly.
Latest pick ups for me.

i don't like to spend a lot of money on popular brand names. i go by appearance and performance if it looks good i will get it. for example beats why the fck will i spend about $300 when i could get any other headset that has decent sound it may look good but theres plenty other good looking headsets that's cheaper.

I've got True religion jeans, they costed me £220. The quality is much better than H&M or Primark.

I think designer clothe are just a statement
If its not a statement you are trying to make
Its because 50 Cent or Dr Dre or someone is wearing them

depends
I have an £80 Animal hoodie but I have worn it so much that I think I am safe to say I have gotten my £80's worth out of it.

Same principal as a watch, can pick up a lovely Accurist or Skagen. They are GREAT watches, and are between 50-150 usually. You could then pick up a nice looking Armani watch for 300ish. I'd prefer the Skagen or Accurist since they are better watches, a lot cheaper and look just as good.
Same principal with Breitling / Rolex. Prefer a Breitling.

MGS2 wrote I can honestly say I would rather have a £20 pound Nike T-Shirt over a £80 Armani Top, All of my Armani tops have had lettering come off after a few washes or printing ha cracked even though they have all been used in a cold wash NO HEAT
Well they must be fake then lol None of mine have done any of that at all and ive had some for 3+ years

Materialistic, I could replicate the t shirt with the same fabric for a 10th of the price.

Personally I love expensive clothing (Fred Perry, CP Company, ma.strum etc.) but just wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
