So I have been wanting to clean out my computer, as it has collected a lot of dust on the inside, so I go to everyone's favorite store walmart to buy some compressed air to clean my PC. So I get the compressed air, then I go to check out and I am then carded and asked if I am 18, which I am 17 so the cashier did not let me purchase it. I have now found out that some people get high off of compressed air (not sure how but they do). Not extremely angry about this, but it just shows how one rotten apple spoils the bunch. But of all things compressed air? I just lose faith in humanity because of things like this.

Same thing happened to me. (Im 16 btw) I actually thought the cashier was joking. And then I realized he was serious. Its honestly ridiculous.

Well actually compressed air isn't actually plain air if you would really like to know that. Also kids do crazy things now & they wouldn't want their company to get sued.

Yes you are right people can get high off compressed air. I didnt know that they had an age limit on them like spray paint does. Just order it offline if you cant get someone to get it for you

A kid at our school last year actually had to be tooken to the hospital because he got high off of that and started freaking out, but all you have to do is take the can and turn it upside down and huff it and it messes you up pretty bad ahaha

I couldn't even buy super glue at Walmart being 17... So I went basically across the street and bought it at a different store. Just plain stupid

I'm 17 i've never had a problem buying compressed air.
Then again I'm in Canada so laws are different.

Thats dumb. People get high off of a lot of things like sharpies ect.
Doesn't mean you have to be 18 to buy sharpies.
