I am a person that is in the middle of this discussion. I sit on the fine line in the middle of the argument. I know that not all police officers are bad, one of my best friends around school campus is a police officer. I'm going to put it this way, I do not hate the police, I hate the rise in police brutality. It's not a "Race War" or "Racist Cops" or all the other crap that the media loves to feed people that I believe. It is the things I have seen I believe. Just a few weeks ago I watched a man with a mental disability get scared of a police officer after hitting their car with a rock, attempt to run with his hands in the air and turn around and drop to his knees just to get shot 3 times in the chest anyways. I've also seen multiple police officers murder animals such as dogs for being near the scene of the crime and "threaten the on duty officer" by sitting on the sidelines on a leash under the owners control. But, then I have also witnessed first hand one of my neighbors houses get surrounded in a 6 hour standoff with police and swat and sniper team due to his fourth case of domestic violence, I guess he had given up on jail and only believed he had one option, he started firing at police, there were 12 shots fired that night. Then a sniper put him down. That is when I thank the police, because this man was an abuser with a 9mm and a 12 gauge stashed in a closet, who knows what could have happened if it weren't for the police in a situation like that. So I guess the debate comes down to this question..

What have you seen the police do with your own eyes? Were you mad? Or grateful?

i can garuntee u that guy wasnt out there too kill no one but police he wouldnt have even had a shotgun out in the first place if he didnt want to shoot a cop. till the day i die **** the police +u say its not a racist thing im guessing your white u probably never witness it from a black mans point of view but cop dont like us dont give 1 damn u say 1 word they will beat tf out u u got money not anymore u walking down the street they are following u

Can I ask why you had to bring race into the discussion? This is the exact reason why racism will never die. Unless you're some kind of god and see all and know all then you don't know what happens to people of various races. Just because the media doesn't report on it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. They report, twist, and mold things into something that will get them higher ratings.
