I have the i5 4690k, love the thing. I have heard stories of people overclocking it to 4.7ghz stable. I also run a single GTX 970 and it is great, extremely quiet even in very intense games like Metro.

Unless you plan on running a ridiculous amount of monitors, instead of 2 GTX 970's you might do better with a single GTX 980.

You can get cheaper monitors than that. I recommend getting an Asus Monitor

If you had the money, I would go for a Intel Core i7 4790k for your CPU

SLI 970's out-perform a single 980.

Show me a cheaper 1440p IPS panel. You can't just recommend an entire brand instead of a specific monitor. Each company are going to have good monitors, and shit ones.

This is WAY overkill in some regards and very underkill in others. Let me explain.

First off, WHY are you thinking of going SLI 970's? SLI is a total gimmick and you would be better off buying a SINGLE 980 for a whole lot less. Anyone who tries to tell you, "Oh, rigging up two cards in SLI will double the power!" is lying through their teeth.

Second off, why would you even consider liquid cooling? For starters, your CPU is an i5 4690k, a CPU that doesn't have nearly as many heating issues as its big brother, the i7 4790k, and at the very least all you'd need is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Third, if you're willing to spend this much money, why not just drop the extra ~$150 and go with the i7 4790k. Hyperthreading is cool as hell.

Finally, I'd steer clear of Crucial SSD's. They're okay and they're a good bang for your buck, but I've heard of build quality issues.

Also, you might want a Motherboard that would give you more future options. The one on your list limits you a bit. Other than that, good PSU (fully-modular is always nice) and nice case! Never heard of the monitor brand and it seems ludicrously expensive, but I have an HDTV as one of my monitors.

Cheers.

A SINGLE GTX 970 could handle up to three, maybe four monitors with little to no problem. If you're looking at two monitors, you will have NO problems!

Umm, fraid not. A single 970 could run 4x 1440p panels?

A single 980 is $50 cheaper than SLI 970s, so that's far from a "whole lot less" and it would be a significant drop in performance.

Why would you consider liquid cooling? The same reason you'd consider any sort of cooling, to keep your temperatures low, is that not obvious? A hyper 212 EVO would be a terrible choice. It's a low-end, and if you're dropping $2k+ on a system, you do not put a $30 cooler in it. Also, the 4790k does not have any "heating issues"? OP doesn't need an i7 since he's only gaming, an i5 is more than fine for him and the extra $100 or so for hyperthreading would be waste since it would give him maybe a few FPS boost in one or two games.

Crucial SSDs are very good, nothing wrong with them. In what way is that motherboard "limiting"? It has an m.2 slot and will run SLI 970s, as well as being able to OC on it? No idea how you've never heard of BenQ, and that's not "ludicrously expensive" for a 1440p panel, at all.
